We place quality patient care at the forefront.

When vetting our nurses for placements, professional competency & skill level is at the top of our check list. We're committed to an extremely high standard of patient care and it shows in our nurses' work!

We recruit the best, so you get the best.

Professional competency, department experience, personality, and unique preferences are all considered when vetting our nurses for placements. Our extensive onboarding process allows us to get a very keen sense on what sort of people our nurses are, what placements will match them best, and where they will deliver the best patient care.

For health authorities, that means you get the very best nurses specifically suited for your health centres.

Our leadership team will also personally visit and tour each of our new partnering health centres to gain a real sense of your needs, unique workflows, and overall operation. Having this inside information allows us to diligently prepare nurses for their placements, saving them from any unexpected hurdles or surprises - boosting recruitment and retention.

We go overboard with due diligence

A health authority's worst nightmare is filling a highly needed position with a nurse who can't handle the job. With Northern Med, that will never happen.

We've all heard the horror stories of travel nurses arriving at their placements without the proper credentials or professional competency to do the job. We know the last thing you want to do is fill a position a second time after it didn't work out the first time.

Northern Med has made a name for ourselves going overboard with due diligence during our vetting process - ensuring our nurses are incredibly well fitted for the assignments we send them to.

Our Leadership Team

We bring everything to the table.

Our leadership team is made of up an incredibly diverse and balanced group of people - with mixed professional backgrounds in nursing, human resources, business administration, and healthcare management.
